Sitdropstay Dog Training Adelaide offers premium dog training, dog behaviour, and pack leader and lifestyle coaching. We believe we offer the most effective and advanced dog training in Adelaide. Our holistic and natural dog training approach is based on a deep understanding of dog psychology and dog whispering.
Whether you are after solutions to specific behaviour problems, general guidance and reassurance, or if you simply want to take your training and level of influence to the next level, we can educate and empower you to create the relationship and behaviour you want from your dog. Our priority is to take the stress out of dog ownership and help you enjoy your dog as much as possible! We have built our reputation on consistently providing outstanding service and results so you can be confident that you and your dog are in experienced and caring hands.
From years of experience we find that one-on-one personalised training in the home and everyday environment consistently gives superior results compared to group classes which is why we now offer this exclusively. We believe it is your day to day contact and personal rituals that teach your dog what is expected of them, builds your relationship, defines roles, develops attitudes and allows your personal lifestyle and dynamics to influence and shape key behaviours. Your dog is forming and maintaining an opinion of you and your leadership abilities whenever you are together, so make your valuable time count!
1) We have a deep understanding of Dog Psychology, Dog Whispering and Dog Behaviour. Our philosophy is based on the way dogs naturally communicate with each other, making it instantly understood, and creating an instinctive willingness to cooperate.
2) We offer you more than just dog training. We focus on empowering you. Understanding and adjusting what you are communicating, who you are being and what you are feeling at any time with your dog (the energy you are projecting), is the only way to permanently change and influence you dogs behaviour. Your dog reflects back to you who you are being with them in any situation. If this is not addressed any dog training or behaviour rehabilitation is a waste of time and money.
Your dog should: enter your home calmly and respectfully, understand boundaries within the home and go to it’s bed or mat and stay there if asked, stay away from guests until invited to approach calmly, be quiet when asked, not demand anything from you, walk calmly by your side (not in front or pulling) and not react to other dogs or people, not jump on anyone, understand a free or play command and come back when called and not be aggressive to other dogs or people. Above all you should be able to influence your dogs behaviour and state of mind in all situations and they should always trust and respect you as their pack leader.
Would you like your dog to see you as a loving leader and willingly co-operate where-ever you are?
We recommend that we come to you for an initial 2 hour home consult.
This initial consult, for an investment of $280 (dogs 6 months +), or $220 (puppies under 6 months), starts with a holistic, in depth assessment and together we find solutions based on your individual situation. All consults are highly flexible and we always work with you in deciding on which methods and solutions you are happy with. It is our role to help you create what you want, not to tell you what you can and can’t do with your dog. Most consults incorporate lifestyle guidance, management of issues both short and long term, shaping both wanted and unwanted behaviours, how to create boundaries/limitations, establishing personal space, greeting guests and walking calmly by your side on a loose lead. It can be as general or as targeted as you like.
Many clients only need the one consult to achieve noticeable changes in their dog’s behaviour and attitude, and there is no obligation to have us back. However, for dogs with more complex issues, or for more advanced or specific training, we recommend having one or two follow-up consults. These consults are 90 minutes long and are charged at $180 – as required, with no specific time frame.
After a 3rd consult you will receive our 12 month guarantee which includes unlimited phone, email and hands-on support.

I have trained with many Dog Trainers from around Australia and Overseas and can say without a shadow of doubt that George is the best in his field I have seen. BOB YEO -SOUTH AUSTRALIA CORRECTIONAL SERVICE DEPT.DOG SECTION HANDLER AND TRAINER (17 YEARS)
We have been completely blown away by George and his ability to teach us the rules to living in a harmonious and balanced pack environment. We have learnt so much in such a short time that we would never have believed it if we hadn’t seen it for ourselves. Once we began to trust ourselves and use the techniques George provided for us, it was amazing to see the immediate change in Bosko. It was as if a light switch went off and he could relax knowing we had it all under control. We will be forever grateful to George for providing not only us with the necessary training but our very balanced and happy Bosko. SYLVIA & JUSTIN TRAEGER – ADELAIDE
I can’t thank you enough for the transformational work you’ve done with my dog Cooper in helping him accept our new kitten. Your breadth and depth of understanding of dogs is most impressive. In addition, your understanding of human behaviour makes what you offer so cutting edge. Above all, your professionalism and open nature makes you a leader of leaders in your industry. I was surprised how much I learned about myself through our session. I realized I was meeting my needs through Cooper. which disempowered both of us, even though it felt good and right. Only when I understood Coopers model of the world, could I meet his needs. I now believe our dog’s behaviour is a mirror reflection of our own conscious/unconscious thoughts. I will now lead with the highest of intentions through love. PRISCILLA BOKHARA – PERSONAL GROWTH SPECIALIST
